Pirongia Forest Park Lodge - Main Lodge

Situated at the base of the mountain – nestled in the bush line stands the Pirongia Forest Park Lodge. At a height of 200m the views are both panoramic and spectacular. Set in a beautiful location the Lodge can offer most groups a wonderful opportunity to stay in a ‘tranquil’ environment – still only 25 minutes away from both Hamilton and Te Awamutu. The Lodge sleeps 42 people in bunk bed style accommodation – with a couple of smaller rooms, it has separate toilets and showers for boys and girls and has a fully self contained kitchen, food preparation and dining area. A further 6 people can be accommodated in our two cabins – again each fully self –contained with private garden, amazing views and private access into the Park. The lodge is available for bookings; Weekends Friday-Sunday, Weeks Monday through to Friday, day groups are also welcomed. With private access into the Forest Park and all of its wonderful walks and with a Flying Fox (picture), Confidence Course and Climbing Wall (picture) on site – not to mention the wide range of outdoor activities (climbing, abseiling, archery, orienteering, canoeing and caving) groups can expect to have an action packed and exciting stay with us.
